A technically easy route that takes you gradually away from the lifts. The trail starts at the top of the Villarais chairlift, where superb views of the surrounding mountains await you!

Height difference: 166m
Round trip time: 2h
Return distance: 3.5km
Level: Easy walk

ROUTE :

A great snowshoeing outing to share with family, friends or lovers, or to enjoy solo to recharge your batteries. Depart from the top of the Villarais chairlift, above the village of Villard-Reculas. At the chairlift exit, turn right towards the arrival of the Petit Prince ski lift.

The trail first descends alongside the ski lift, before turning away from the slopes and lifts to head for the ridge. The profile is undulating, with a succession of ascents and descents, until you reach the Signal de Villard, where a majestic view awaits you!

Return along the same path. Keep an eye out for when the chairlift closes to take you back down to the village.

THINGS TO SEE ALONG THE WAY :

This walk is a superb way to get some height and admire the peaks of the surrounding massifs: the Écrins, Belledonne and Taillefer seem within reach!
